It depends. If you have done scholarship/selective tutoring you would have likely done multiple types of these exams (edutest, acer, AAS). Each student will find a certain test easier. I think I topped the grade 6 ACER test when I did it, because I found the long time frame (roughly 40 minutes, 40 questions) easy. Of course, the questions are harder than in some other tests, though I found them not much harder than the edutest questions. Regardless of the difficulty, you need preparation. I'd highly recommend going to a scholarship school (even though they can cost upwards of 5000 dollars a year) because while the quality of teaching is pretty good at best, they offer tests that you can do. If you are in Victoria, I recommend Qs School, as each practice test you did gave you a report and review of what questions you got wrong, and how you compared to the other people in the school, which can help you compare your performance against the demographic you are competing against.
