FH yeah, not rude at all. Public transport is like horrendous all around, and yeah, were technically a city but I'm also not really in a city or that makes sense? I might technically fall under its bracket but the actual town I live in isn't big. Idk how to describe without straight up saying where I live which probably isn't very internet smart of me lol.
Also maybe didn't distinguish myself enough as regional rather than rural in the past?

Rey_of_sunshine i sorta get the jist what you mean, the metro/regional covid lockdowns in 2020 and me trying to figure where is metro and where is regional are bringing back memories of the segregation of victoria 😭😭
and i agree, PTV is so bad. there hasn’t been a time i’ve caught a train this year that wasn’t delayed or with interruptions. and trams need to be bigger omg they can get so squashy on peak hour.

FH yeah, our train runs to Melbourne hourly with multiple towns on the way so unless you're in the first couple stops (which I luckily am) you're guaranteed to be standing.so far this year I've had closed down the line for like 2 weeks starting the day of my exam in melbourne, striked meaning I couldn't go to my ches open day and got delayed for an hour with no given reason on the morning of comic con I have a personal hatred which is probably why I sound really whiny sorry

i_need_mental_asylum i feel like everyone knows heather T-T, but he is really great live + his vocals are very similar to the produced version. i was lucky to go to see him in 2022 as well, which i’m grateful for.

haven’t updated here for ages so i suppose i should just yap and i nod off to cigarettes after sex even though i’m at school til 5:15pm today. yay! dont we LOVE after school text response sacs! i am so screwed for the sac, like my grades for this topic have been a 48% and a 55%— i have NO idea what is going on in this unit. i hate the play (oedipus the king) and it makes absolutely no sense to me… sos indeed. can’t wait to finish the area of study today, because i am solely focusing on we have always lived in the castle for the exam.
got my unit 3 exam back for general… 88%!! which is pretty good considering i made an unhealthy amount of stupid errors. got all the harder questions correct which is gooooood. also got to have a look at my unit 3 exam for business, which i only lost 3 marks on section A, and section B was still being marked. awaiting grades for that exam, my english exam (where the averages were NOT good), psychology exam and the U4 AOS3 poster.
i also get my sac for business pushed back because it clashes with the critical thinking test for EI, which is so good because it will probably get pushed back a whole week (more revision/procrastination for me!!). critical thinking is next wednesday, i am so scared because i haven’t started revising, that was more a later issue but i can’t keep pushing it back. i also finished analysing all my transcripts, now i need to make connections with the data and have started drafting my report!! good progress which i likeeee.
i did study for 4 hours after school yesterday which was crazy, and i love my english teacher so muchhhh, she gave me feedback on my practice essay in 5 minutes of me sending it to her. like, this was at 7pm mind you. it’s crazy how dedicated she is i’ve never had an english teacher like that.
i get the whole day to study for the english sac which im going to do because i need a 65 at least to be happy, and i’m pushing it by asking for that even. should really remember quotes. wish me luck ahhhh. switched up the music to towa bird so i don’t nod off, because i gotta be productive for onceeeee!!

omg and also: my school is so stupid when we have to go to our locker during study they have to report it on the chronicle which is so silly. my mum texted me and said she had food so i told them i was going to collect my english folder because i forgot it, and she was like “oh i had to put it on compass as a chronicle” I WAS SO INFURIATED BC MY CLEAN RECORD IS GONE, but i have food now !!

hola! have the extended investigation critical thinking test tomorrow and am really not giving a fuck (am i allowed to use that word on atarnotes… i guess we shall find out). to be honest, it’s 10% of the study score which i doubt can influence it THAT much, and i am very good at yapping, hence bringing up to my update ✨💃

week 3 of term 3 is crazy, especially when placed into context that the english exam is in (now) less than 3 months. time flies, and life is definitely on a steep trajectory right now. with school, i have finally gotten all my unit 3 exams back:

general (88%)
business (91%)
psych (79%)
english (7 on section A and B)
extended investigation (no exam)

pretty happy with the scores, considering they are practice. made a lot of stupid errors on general and psychology, so it’s more curbing those errors than actually not understanding the content. sac’s for business and psychology next week, then english and possibly the final general sac the week following. getting extremely exhausted i can’t wait to be done (and maybe start a more comprehensive uni journal next year).

going to attend an amazing, whopping ONE open day this year, only because i did the other uni’s last year and didn’t actually consider monash. which has me thinking from my very first post how different my goals are. i prefer to go to monash and do a double degree in media/communications and criminology, whereas at the start of the year 12 journey i had my heart set on unimelb. also my study scores have changed so much. i’ll put them below but the one’s in brackets are my new predictions:

english — 30-35 (same)
general — >40 (40-42)
business management — >45 (42)
psychology — 35-40 (43)
extended investigation — 35-40 (same)

i have no school on friday, which is a good opportunity for me to (probably sleep in) but also study for the sac’s and work on the english oral presentation. also going to call a friend that day and set up our vtac accounts together- we’re both really scared we are going to mess up our vtac accounts and want to do it together to be safe. (how romantic, he’s straight sadly /j i wouldn’t date my friends). who i would date is hyunjin from stray kids, but as a wise mod once said… this is atarnotes not a dating platform!!

but for now, as conan gray once said about vce: “it makes me feel like dying.” ok maybe it wasn’t about vce but damn it’s relatable. live laugh love memories. i’ll shut up i’m literally rambling on now. stay safe everyone WISH ME LUCK FOR THE CRITICAL THINKING TEST TOMORROWWWWW AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
