Jamie I did ESV this year in semester one online, nature and beauty of mathematics and i can confirm this is partly true. Card and magic tricks are the main focus at the start, but towards the end you shift more towards other concepts such as fractals, time dialation and the golden ratio. However, this was the online course, it may differ taking it as an elective at JMSS.
