Thanks for the paper. It helped a lot. Do you have the solutions to these. If you do can you please post it on this thread.

Thank you. 😄

hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any tips, resources, advice, anything will help (I rlly want to get into jmss but i only have a week to prepare/study for it)!
I average a 90% across my school grades and used to do many extracurricular sports 🙂

Hello! I'm taking the jmss test this saturday, and I really really want to get in. I'm familiar enough with the science content in year 9, but I'm worried about what I should prepare during this last week before the test.
For my background, I'm actually currently attending macrob, and last year i got in with 4 superiors (reading comp, maths, vb and writing) (ik this REALLY sounds like boasting sorry lmao but I'd like to feel some reassurance), but I don't really like the school and I think that jmss would be a better fit.

Are there any science topics that I need to quickly cover? I'm ok with light and sound, but not really with electrical circuits or many physics questions. I'm also ok with chemistry (my school taught us this pretty well last year) but I'm not sure what biology questions might be on the test.

I've been doing some icas practice tests, and found those doable, but I'm not sure if these tests are similar to the jmss test. Also i've been wondering how hard the jmss tests are compared to the selective exams, since tons of people say that the jmss test is easier but im not so sure.

What I want to say is if anyone has any advice on last-minute content prep for science, as well as writing structures for the science communication (?) and experiment report writing, please let me know!!

Ty 🙂)

hey, im so sorry but for some reason I can't attach the powerpoint, I tried taking screenshots but even that doesn't paste into the post. 😓
im sure you'll do great on the exam regardless but maybe you could ask chatgpt to explain yr 9/10 level info on electrical circuits and look at khan academy (ive heard its pretty useful for learning science and math concepts).
    my apologies again

Can anyone watch the information night video about 2025? Apparently they changed the way you get selected into the school it's not the 3% from each school anymore.

does that mean that the school could just accept all those applying from selective schools instead of some from public schools?
