Hello!!! Im going inot year 12 and can answer some questions about methods and hhd
METHODS - Methods definately gets gradually harder although personally I found that if you kept up with the work there was never a massive jump that was unreasonable? If you get what I mean. Like evrything builds on everything and the only time it gets really hard is when you dont understand/listen for a topic and then suddenly that exact topics gets harder and you get lost. So pretty much just keep up with the work/asking questions to your teachers and friends to clarify things you found harder. Im not sure about your school, but my school made ridiculuously hard sacs, where the average was around 30%. Most studetns, event he top ones were not prepared and got much lower scores than they thought. Therefore I definately recommend doing harder questions you see in the textbook/practice exams/sacs and if you dont u derstand them please ask for help!!!! Every question you can understand how to do it better will help and the best possible outcome is that you are waiting for a sac/exam not being able to find any questions that confuse you!!
HHD - I just finished HHD 3/4 this year and it was always one of my favourite subjects. HHD is a very strange subject where for at least my school we hadnt seen a lot of the content before and people do not realise how important it is to understand how to answer questions. My friends and I did HHD 1/2 in year 10 and we certainly realised quickly that know the content is not enough, look at marking guide and words that ask for specific things. The first chapter of 1/2 health is one of the most important chapter you will do and if you can undertsand that easily you will find the rest of the course so much easier. HHD is another subject where PLEASE get your questions marked by/looked over by your teachers (more important in year 12) to know you are answering questions right, because some teachers want different thigns to others.
GOOD LUCK!!!! I am 100% happy to answer any more question your have especially for HHD!
