Victorian Selective Entry Exam 2024 (Help)
I was also wondering if I should change my preferences as a lot of people in my school are putting mhs first preference and that is what I currently have. I live really close schs and I was wondering if any of you guys could give me some info onto which school is better.
Hi everyone, so just curious what would be the minimum score needed as in estimate to get into NHS?
yeah im pretty sure if u get and average ur chances go down very drastically
How many superiors are needed for suzanne cory?
HI I was wondering what are the minimum scores you need to get into Nossal High School?
hey guys, can everyone pls check out my new discussion page, called SELECTIVE EXAM FORMULAS
im not sure about current stats but for my year (only 4 tests bc no writing):
- 3 or 4 superiors guarantees top pref
- 1 or 2 superiors should be enough for schs or nhs (if you're lucky, mhs and macrob), but absolutely does not guarantee
keep in mind that it also depends on the competition from your school
hey guys i have a quick question, about the 10% rule, do the sehs schools have to take 10% do they take UP TO 10% bc thats what my friends are saying so im confused
also im feeling really stressed and demotivated as we're getting closer to the exam so does anyone have any tips on how to stay motivate and relaxed?
anisha
the SEHS schools take up to 10%
uhhh don't spend too much time studying for the exam (still revise though !!), make sure you take breaks, meet up with your friends, music really helps me when im stressed
as cringe as the following sounds
you could also try talking to someone (a friend, family member, school counsellor)
anisha Definitely focus on good rest and relaxation! Good sleep is absolutely crucial for these last days towards the test, especially since you'll need to be awake and have energy to actually do the test.
Don't try cramming at all because likely it'll get you nowhere and increase stress
I'd say to leave the last few days before the test just to relax and focus on good rest/motivation of course, do things you enjoy, calm down, and tell yourself it'll be great
I'm doing the exam too so honestly I'm probably as stressed as you are haha
Also remember that if things don't turn out, there's a different opportunity/path, and you should always trust what the world has for you! As long as you've worked hard and put efforts in, it'll all pay off
You've got thisss.. Wishing you the greatest of luck!
