I am from NSW, but I think most it will still apply. The Maths required in physics is quite simple level maths, mostly multiplications, division, additions, substructions and trigonometry, and graphing skills. Not too hard, however in most questions it will be a combination of all of these and multi step requiring many formulas, making it seem harder than it is, its more about understanding the concept clearly and understand what you are calculating ( make a quick plan, for example if you were asked to calculate force from velocity- just make a small note a= (v-u)/t, F= ma,) , so u don't get lost, once you have that the maths is quite simple.
Also to excel in maths, just do tons and tons of questions, if u have 1hr extra time spend 30 on resting up and the other 30 just doing maths sums, use past papers and textbooks and just do question, different types of question and make sure they are all not easy. In maths you need to have the fundamentals clear and then lots of practise will take you a long way. If a concept is not clear for both maths and physics just search it up on YouTube, u will find many good videos there that explain it really well, or even post it here and many people will reply
Also don't procrastinate, do lots of past questions from papers, I didn't do this and I regret it, many question maybe be repeated with the values changed, so do past papers
Hopefully that helped and good luck with year 11
