  • Chemistry in year 12?

Hello, ive just come from a meeting for curtin's medical program and i don't do chemistry, the only prerequisite. The problem is i need to do it either right now (march year 12) or next year in a different school.

If i switch to chemistry now (swapping from psychology general), would i be set to fail? I do biology, human biology, maths apps and english and average an A on everything but english.

I have a general interest in chemistry and don't know why i didn't pick it up earlier on. Would i better off just doing chemistry now or somewhere else?

Cheers,
Nate

Should I do chemistry right now or next year somewhere else?

if you felt alright with the year 9/10 chemistry stuff and your willing to have a quick read over the year 11 content i dont see why you couldnt do well, the year 12 content does use the knowledge from year 11 BUT that prerequisite knowledge is taught again (or simply revised) when you learn a topic.
