FH ⭐️ We are writing a gothic text, I have written a draft Im just struggling to remember everything.
This is what I need to remember for context:
The fragile, brittle house constructed of wood, was propped upon a hill, peering over the vast, seemingly endless forest. A long gravel path beginning at the entrance to the home stretched afar. The people in the surrounding area knew not to venture near this place for beasts roamed, so they said.
As the sun began to set over the forest, casting long shadows across the gravel path, a sense of unease crept over Sarah. She had been invited to stay the night with her friend Rachel, but the closer they got to the house, the more she regretted her decision. The house looked like it was on the verge of collapse, and she couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.
Rachel, on the other hand, seemed unfazed. She led Sarah up the path and into the house, which creaked and groaned with every step they took. The interior was just as unsettling as the exterior, with spiderwebs draped across every surface and a musty smell that seemed to linger in the air.
As they ventured deeper into the house they were met with a room, there was a bed, resambling one found in a hospital covered in a red substance, thicker then blood. This was very unsettling for sarah. but she continued on.
As the night wore on, Sarah found it harder and harder to ignore the feeling of being watched. Every creak and groan of the house sounded like footsteps, and she couldn't shake the feeling that something was lurking just outside the walls.
It wasn't until the middle of the night that she heard the first scream. Rachel had gone missing, and Sarah was alone in the house with whatever was out there in the forest. She could hear it prowling around outside, scratching at the walls and howling like an animal.
With no way out and no help in sight, Sarah huddled in a corner of the room, hoping that whatever was out there wouldn't find her. But as the night wore on and the beast grew bolder, she knew that it was only a matter of time before it broke down the door and dragged her out into the darkness.
