Oh my god, that's unpleasant. In terms of academics, my school is also pretty bad. Not as bad though, a 2.3 rating! Yikes, mine is like 3.3 or smth. Suzanne's is 4.6! The reason why I want to go to selectives is not bc of their prestigious education, it's mainly because you're gonna be surrounded by people that are academically talented students that always aim high. On the contrary, have a look at pretty much any other ordinary public school and like half the kids don't make it into university.
