it takes me like 1hr+ to get to both thru pub-trans 😭

guys, i was reading the acer website again, it says:

"If you do not receive an offer in Round 1, you will be notified by email. A small number of candidates will receive subsequent offer and will be notified by email. If you do not receive an email in subsequent rounds, you have not received an offer. If in doubt, please check your account in the application portal. Candidates who have received an offer will have an 'offers' tab visible on the left hand navigation panel."

so ig we don't get emails for selected offers, only rejection emails in first round. so offer portal will be where first round is

clover ik this is a dumb question, but my skl has like 5 campuses, would each campus be considered unique??

[deleted] actually i'm not sure, but i would say they would each be considered as unique because they are different locations with different students etc.

Ronaldo yea, that's what i was saying because i'm a bit worried that living far away from the schools is a disadvantage

          clover nah it isn’t.

just if u live closer it is an advantage

            The selection process
A centralised selection process is used whereby every candidate must sit the entry exam. While each school fills 85% of its Year 9 enrolment based on a candidate’s performance in the exam, there are a range of variables that may affect final offers each year. These include:

Variable entry score from year to year depending on the demand for places at the school and the scores achieved by those candidates who have listed the school as their first preference.
Only a maximum of 4% of students in Year 8 from any one secondary school can be accepted into a selective entry high school, with a maximum of 10% of students from p-9 schools. Candidates currently enrolled in an home, interstate or overseas schools are treated as discrete school cohorts, with a cap on the placements on offer.
Up to 10% of enrolments are filled through the equity consideration category.
Up to 5% of the enrolment will be filled through the principal’s discretion category.
Offers at the co-educational selective entry high schools may also be subject to the use of a special measure to ensure the two co-educational selective entry high schools maintain a gender balance.

[deleted] ye I read that is why I signed up for equity consideration u know to increase my chances

              • MMHS replied to this.

clover i'm going to be hoping that we don't get emails because it says they tell you that you have been rejected...

clover Idk if this is still the case, but I think you're wrong. My sister got a first round offer to Macrob in 2018, and my parents received emails saying "your child's outcome in the SEHS exam is here: "with a link to the portal". It won't specifically inform you of your acceptance/rejection on the email. HOWEVER IDK IF THIS IS STILL THE CASE
