Hello everyone! I thought it would be nice to have a discussion where we can share our results when they come out on the 16th! In the meantime, we could discuss our experiences! 🙂

alr nice, what are ur predicted scores and ur thoughts on ur chances of getting in. So here's all about me:
My school: Loyola College
Current Year level: 8
Preferences: MHS, Suzanne (tho probs wont go suzanne)
My Predictions: Writing - Sup, Verbal - Sup, Rc - aa-sup, Maths - ha, Nr - ha but possible avg
Overall: Hoping 3 sups 2 ha's and if i am lucky then 3 sups, 1aa and 1 ha
My thoughts on the likelihood i get in MHS - Currently 60%

    though i am skeptical abt sup vr bc if everyone found it easier, the bar will be much higher

      My skl: St Francis Xavier College
      Competition: about 70-80 kids with 14 seats
      Preferences: NHS, MHS and SC not gonna go to sc though
      Predictions: RC: Sup Maths: AA QR: Sup VR: AA-Sup Writing: A-HA
      My Chance to get in: 60-70%

        MMHS for me my preferences were: Suzanne Cory, MacRob, Nossal (just put Nossal but won't be going there)
        My predictions would be: Writing - AA - Sup, Verbal & RC: One AA + Sup or 2 Sups if lucky, Maths - HA - AA, NR: - HA (if I'm lucky then MAYBE AA)
        So overall that would be 2-3 sups, 3-4 AA and possibly 1-2 HA.
        I would say I have a 65% chance of getting in, there are 106 Year 8's at my school (all girls school btw), 10 people that I know of (including me) are trying out, only 4 of us can get in... hopefully let's see what happens 🤞

            MMHS yea, i agree. in JAC i usually got AA - Sups for VR, but it might be harder now...

                clover yeah 70-80 trying out across 2 campuses but js realised there will be 27 seats which sound a lot better

                    My school: Bacchus Marsh Grammar
                    Kids trying out: around 200
                    Spots: 16

                    there are two campuses at my school so around 8 kids get in at each campus - in my campus id say there are like 25 kids who actually have the potential to get in (including moi)

                    i aint gonna say what i think im gonna get cuz i dont wanna jinx anything but idk 🤷‍♀️

                      clover same for sim i only got sups but idk, I'm just nervous about nr bc i feel like i choked

                          YR10SEHSASPIRANT ohh, for my school, only like 6 of us prepped, the other 4 just didn't really care if they get in or not

                            MMHS yea same, for me maths in the actual exam was quite simple, but i feel like for the maths component i could've messed up..
