asianasen TECHNICALLY but idk why people call east asians asians and most people some times consider brown people indians

asianasen THAT IS WHAT I ALWAYS SAY
and at this point I have way too much to say about this
but I will try to be brief
I think it is because East Asia is more popular in other parts of the world due to anime, Chinese food, etc whereas people only know India because of spices, loud Indian music and curry when that should absolutely not be the case
could also be because India is almost like an entirely different continent (the Indian subcontinent, anyone?) when compared with the rest of Asia. Or yk, people are just in ignorance.

Yeah I agree India is part of Asia but because India is unique and also because it has the most population and is a world superpower, many people say it isn't Asian.
Not to mention it has it's own tectonic plate unlike the rest of Asia which shares one together with Euro Asia, so many people say it is it's own continent but it has similar cultures and tradition to other Asian countries.
And also India is not the ONLY brown country.
asianasen he said 35 percent OTHER asians
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) not even that many aussies,i went on a tousr to schs recently and there was just indians and asians there was like on white girl but that it, i aint tryna discriminate
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) ye south asia is all the desi countries like india pakistan sri lanka and etc
does anyone have any material for yr 10 entry
Random_Person_You_Happen_To_Be_Encountering_Now people just regard asians as the 'stereotypical' chinese asian
Yeah I know, I'm Indian but I literally look like I'm from Bhutan. idk why.
No, I'm not adopted if that's what you would ask.
what region of india?
because if you are from the areas near bhutan that might make sense
My dad is from Punjab and then my mum is from north east India.
MMHS Are you also Indian?
(Just asking)
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) i am hindu allthough some people think im from pakistan idk how
Well Pakistan was a part of India so it does make sense.
DV78 Well I have this thingy which I would like to call a theory
You can make boundaries but you cannot separate the people
For example if you drew a line in your house that would not mean that your family on the other side is not genetically related to you
Dosanjh (NHS/SCHS) yes i am, my parents are from hyderabad
.. yes the point you make is very true, not all schools will have food tech, though many do. MHS aims to build the whole person, and won't allow you just to study for 10 hours a day, get an award for academics and think you are the greatest. A prerequisite to be able to graduate from the school is that you have to be able to swim a certain level, this is a) beneficial for health, and b) an important life skill. They also have PE classes until year 12, and i think you have to undertake at least 2 co-curric, however i may be wrong about how many you must do.
