a That is true but here in Australia, Hinduism is the fastest growing religion meaning there are even more Indians who keep coming to Australia which is another reason why.
Also coming from an authentic Indian person, our parents always push us in our studies to become a topper and overall get a good job in life like Doctor and Lawyer

@Dosanjh (NHS) @MHS successful candidate what r u schedules and what was ur schedule when u were doing the test @MMHS ??
chxin So I basically will do tuition but you know it's the holidays so I replicate the exam by creating my own answer sheets and doing the exam test papers as well as studying the content of the exam by using online resources.
chxin i went to james an on friday afternoons, but for the days prior to that and the days after friday that week, i would keep reviewing my mistakes on my james an tests, do like 3-5 practice tests a day, and keep trying to get better at the things i was worse at (mostly some math parts). I didn't focus tooo heavily on english components because I was pretty confident on them, but for the last like 2 weeks i did a few writing practice tests, and a few vr and rc tests. I studied for sehs each day, probably around 2-3 hours a day, but i also had to keep up with my normal school work which wasn't too hard. Overall, the key is to be consistent and positive. From the time school starts this year for you, and to any other year 8's going for sehs, you must go full out. The test day is around 5 months away, a long time to practice

if i get 70 on eng and 60 on math currently what should i practice to get better at both
chxin in all honestly, don't worry about your james an scores just yet, once you get to maybe april or mid april i'd say, then take scores more into account. From mid april onward to mid june (test day) you need to focus on your weaknesses and try to be scoring superior for maybe 2-3/4 of your james an tests. I only started scoring 3 sups for my tests around simulation time. But, in saying that, you can get a head start. Remember, don't stress, it can be a good sign, but also it can bring your confidence levels down. Stay calm in every test, and on the day of the test you must stay calm. Also, here is my new email: yel0002@mhs.vic.edu.au. Anyone else who needs help can also email me here or just ask me through this forum or any other ones. Your scores seem solid atm️
Don't worry most people who achieve average in mock exams actually do really well in the exam and it's true.
Dosanjh (NHS) pretty much summed me up ig
i got lower scores on the james an mock, did like 2x better on the real exam
Dosanjh (NHS) wish u all the best, ask anyone for help with questions you may be struggling with, or about mhs life, i could tell u about it this year
bro im thinking about making a youtube video kinda like arnav kadian on my first day. Maybe i won't, arnav does it best lol
MMHS Yeah I agree you should definitely do it!
Besides Arnav is in his 20's now you can do it he already graduated Suzanne Cory
chxin ill js mostly review on what i got wrong on my mocks and practice those concepts and take a few practice tests each day
chxin Well for English, I'm not sure if you meant reading but try reading books and then write questions about those books then the next day or two read the book and it's text in a short time and answer the questions.
And for math try learning year 8 and 9 and study the concepts mainly includes Algebra (etc.)
