MMHS idk if i feel like im overestimating the yr 8 cohort or underestimating, like sometimes i feel like so many people are dumb but then people rock up saying the whole test was a breeze and they finished every test with like 10 mins to go
cooked_more MMHS most of the time those people either don’t care or are oblivious and choose the first answer which pops up in their head. btw this is my alt acc of cooked., my phone cant login so i had to make a new acc
MMHS guys what do you think the best scenario results wise is? Mine is: Writing - Sup Rc - Sup Vr- Sup Nr - AA Maths- ha (expected)/aa best case I'm hoping for is 3 sups and 2 aa
Ronaldo MMHS damn for English all sups and maths one avg and one ha so 3 sups 1 avg and 1 ha is best case worst case is 2 sups for English 1 aa for writing and 2 avg for maths
Ronaldo NOSSALSUCCESSBUTNOTGOING damn I made the wrong decision not jinxing my scores even tho gave em
cooked_more MMHS yh me too. if im being honest i can only remember my rc, writing, and my nr. ive completely forgotten how i performed in my vr and maths 😭
selectiveschoolexamcandidate Im thinking the grading process like this: Superior = +3 Above average = +2 High average = +1 Average = 0 Low average = -1 Below Average = -2 And I’d say an admission score would be 9 or 9+ marks As of my predictions I hope to get 11 marks
MMHS selectiveschoolexamcandidate yeah 9 is a bit low, id say 10 or 11, and my hoped score would be a 12 so i hope i get that
Grace AI selectiveschoolexamcandidate How will you separate these results for Melbourne High and Macrob compared to the co-ed Nossal and Suzzane?
cooked_more selectiveschoolexamcandidate igwym but imo 9 points minimum isnt realistic. obviously itd depend on the cohort but id say 11 minimum is probably whats required to get an offer. i think this because ud need at least one superior no matter the combination to get 11 or more points, idk tho js my thoughts
cooked_more selectiveschoolexamcandidate tht’s 3 superioes and 2 averages. just one mere average has been known to bring down a great score to an alright one. schools want all rounders, not students who are proficient in one specific field
