mhsbandar thanks, i do have a few tips for you. So, my first one is that when you are stressed for ur results or the test day, stay positive, bc i was so negative the whole time, saying i wouldnt make it and everyday knowing i wouldnt bc of the 'competition' but now that i got in, i can confidently say you should be confident in urself. But to be confident u must do everything honestly and with all you have, leave no stones unturned. Also, imporve your vocabular, like spend 20 mins a day practicing ur vocab as this helps for vr and writing and trust me when i say this. For maths, just do lots of practice tests under timed conditions, and also another one, get used to the timed pressure so ur ready. Anyways, wish you luck for next year and i cant believe im saying this like im already in MHS and whatnot but yea, seeing as I got in, this is my advice
How did you guys do for the first round of SEHS
MMHS Thanks so much man, have already been polishing my vocabulary to a decent extent, and now I can continue to do that with additional confidence. Well done on the offer, you deserved it

mhsbandar hi there! i did the test this year and got the first round offer to suzanne cory.
for now, it's quite early, but it's good to start, and i would just do some practice tests. for me it wasn't more so the question types but rather, the time management. practicing helped me complete the test under the immense pressure and stress. learning of questions types will be beneficial, trust me, some of the questions were similar to what i had seen before.
now for me, i didn't have much preparation, i started in december with small practice tests here and there. but with 9 weeks left, i joined JAC which provided more resources. it helped in terms of stress management.
after the exam i was quite stressed, counting down and everything. please don't do that lol. it's really unnecessarily stressful and i only realise that now.
idk but today the results came out and i'm already giving tips
anyways, good luck for your exam!
clover Thanks a lot for your advice and congratulations on the offer! Will be sure to keep this in mind
mhsbandar js another small tip from me would be to use ur time wisely, like i only had 2-3 months to prepare and i did that, but it was more so how i used my materials and how i extended myself, so being wise with ur resources is the way to go. Personally i bought a few books online, i recommend 1100 words you need to know (vocab practice book) and perhaps looking into additional tutoring such as James an or Hendersons if you want that extra boost.
MMHS Got it, thanks again and if you do have any material u recommend pls tell me cuz I need some lol
here's all the materials i made to revise, you can use them if u need, some are a bit useless but other than that they should be good: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1emMV2lyILsbo6uc0kwdb9ax6znW_QhOi
Thanks sm but it says access denied I think its only accessible for u idk. I requested access
oh, then idk how to give u access bc nothings coming up, dw i'll try send some other resources
MMHS Thanks so much this is exactly what I've been looking for
i got into nhs
