Victoria took up the sport of badminton as a nine year old and won her first national junior title in 2005 in the under 15 singles. She went on to win the Australasian U/17 singles title in 2007 and the Australasian U/19 singles title in 2009. Victoria was selected for the 2012 London Olympic Games making her the first ever female Old Haileyburian to represent Australia at the Olympics. At these Games she also became the first female to ever win a badminton match for Australia."
