Fr, I live in the western area (truganina/tarneit) and I have so many cousins that live in the city. They always ask me how it is living in "the hood" of Melbourne, even though where I live is quite safe and possibly has a better quality of life than many areas of the CBD and Eastern regions (completely in my honest opinion). However, sadly I don't think this stereotype is going to die down anytime soon, especially with the krishank karthik situation going on right now.
