Oscar Piastri i have a question, one of my mum's friend said that, jmss is like self study school, is that sort of true?

ash73 got told the same thing for all the sehs schools by a past macrob student

ash73 Ok this is tricky, I wouldn't exactly call it a self study school as it has proper schedules and classes, structured curriculum, mandatory assessments, and usually people progress at the same pace. but there are elements of a self study school like minimal study instructions.
I hope this made sense.

Oscar Piastri for the interview, would you say they're mainly looking for well rounded people (not robotic, passionate etc), mainly looking for scientific passion or a healthy mix of both?

Oscar Piastri what if you dont have alot of science awards ? and also what if you have alot of passion for maths aswell? also do they like kids who have really good sports achievements?

Sleepy They want genuinely interested people not people who are doing the test for the sake of fulfilling their parent's wishes, or for the sake of the reputation they may gain by getting into the school

KingYen They do quite a bit of sport, Table Tennis is a major, sure, but there are other sports they do as interschool, and interhouse.

JMSS_hopefully I'm not sure if JMSS are big in sports. Maybe Table Tennis but that's all I know of

JMSS_hopefully also u dont hv to hv lots of science awards, it cld be workshops, immersion days etc but show a passion in science

Sleepy I only had 1, other than that, I told them all my co-curriculars. Actually one co-curricular helped the most: I do motorsport (go karting) competetively
