i_need_mental_asylum idk I'm in maths extension and we get like different things to do.. we've done the AMC and also the maths olympiad
Other33 I think this is the olympiad as that the amt select for their high performance program This is the link for the olympiad that i did https://www.amt.edu.au/aimo I haven't got my results for this and the AMC yet as well 😔
Other33 MMHS I didnt get in to SEHS and my results were math-top11,vr-above average,nr-above average, writing above average, rc - below average 😔 I think my rc score ruined it
MMHS Other33 damn, but hey, you are really good at maths though, i got aa for one maths component and an avg, however i got much better on the English components, mostly top 10's, try out next year with a new perspective and a want for more
Other33 MMHS I got my AMC score today - I got distinction and top 7% in the state - 83/135. did you get yours yet
MMHS Other33 good job btw! I think i've always been not so good with these style questions, however I'm better at school lol
MMHS amc website says region just indicates the state/territory you are in, if it was the country we would probably be much lower around the top 15-18% mark
MMHS he's crazy good at maths like insane, and he got two top 10's for eng and 1 aa but he's only been here for 6 years and eng is his second language
MMHS i honestly did not prepare for this at all, like I did 1 practice test from it quite leisurely, so I kind of just thought this test was nothing much, but I probably would've gotten much better with preparation, little disappointed
Other33 MMHS Thanks, now just waiting for the AIMO (Australian Intermediate Mathematics Olympiad) results.
MMHS Other33 i didn't do that, how do you compete? Do you just get selected if you get good enough on the amc
Other33 MMHS yeah they told me that I got selected for it because of my AMC result, not many schools do the AIMO though
MMHS Sejal bro that is not terrible thats extremely good, top 4% of the state is insane, plus you probably had no preparation either, we will probably do more of these next year at sehs
