BengaliCamel MMHS no what i mean is that i was close to the cutoff scores for standard merit and it’s painful for me to think about cuz i was 5 marks away and now i’m not gonna get yr9 entry for mhs and have to do yr10 entry
MMHS BengaliCamel yes i guess so, and mhs next year is even harder than this whole process, you must rank top top 28 out of the 500+ students plus interviews again
MMHS BengaliCamel no i mean 28 students get in via yr 10 entry or am i falsely informed? It kinda also depends on drop out numbers at yr 9
BengaliCamel And i’m doubtful because there’s probably gonna be a lot of people with state level sports
.. BengaliCamel yeh there is. I didn't get into MHS year 10 entry. All the people I know that did get in at least have one state level in something. Btw I got direct entry(no interview) into Suzanne Cory(only possible if you get 5 sups). You might be cooked already.
BengaliCamel .. i need some more info on their exam results, school results, and other extracurriculars cuz surely it’s not contingent on just state level sports
.. [unknown] I'll notify you on that. Results haven't come out yet for people that did MHS. All I know(me for example) if you don't have a extra curricular that is somewhat state level even if you have 5 sups you most likely can't get an interview. But there is also a factor of the written response section on the application.
BengaliCamel [unknown] what about district or sub-district level? Also i think i know how to write my personal response
din [unknown] maybe he did good in the interview many thing r taken into account for pd not js ur score.
MMHS district in all honestly is not impressive, ik it might seem harsh but in order to stand out, you must be much higher than district
MMHS [unknown] no in total I reckon, mhs is probably down to like 5 spots or less, people have had 4 rounds to contemplate this decision so thus numbers will be extremely low
