chxin a random tip I would recommend to you would be interpreting the prompts from a diff view point, for creative that is. In the 2024 exam, our prompt was a image of a person sitting in a cinema theatre. I took the prompt quite literally and included a segment of the charecters in my story going inside a movie theatre. My friend on the other hand, had interpreted the movie theatre as a stage, and had also set the perspective of the main charecter as a student, making it somewhat relative for the markers ig in a way?? Anyways main point is having a unique perspective of the prompt helps (she got a top 10% and I got a top 20%) .btw my scores were top 10% for maths and reading comp and the rest were top 20%
Edit: I yapped A LOTT but anywayss

Chessisthebest My story was about becoming donkey kong literaly so dont overthink the idea for too long ok
Chessisthebest damn you bet me in 2 by one ranking
nikhilNossal what did u get for that?
Mine was about the girl watching a movie, Ghostbusters, only the antagonists seemed to be winning over the protagonists, so the evil reigned, random ghosts appeared insidiously, and then i forgot the rest, but i added good vocab and got top 10%. For persuasive i chose cinemas should be discontinued or whatever it was, initially i went for the opposite, but i couldn't suffice good enough arguments, so i restarted with 12 mins to go, and got top 10%. I think i said that going to cinemas these days will not be the most prudent decision due to the cost of living issues, that can't seem to be ameliorated anytime soon, and for first time families, staying home and purchasing a monthly subscription to Netflix would be better for this reason and the fact that its in the comfort of your own home. My rebuttal was just that movies (cinema experience) is a more immersive experience. SO yeah these were my ideas and i got top 10%
MMHS above
My creative was about a girl who was late to the movies, her car broke down, she got in a fight with her friend and a bunch of other bad stuff happened to her. In the end, she arrives and runs in to find the cinema room empty, and her watch was broken and there was still a bunch of hours left till the movie started. So she just sat there and kinda went crazy. (I got an average but I think that was thanks to my persuasive piece)

nikhilNossal what u get for others
So... I really did not know what to do for the creative piece so I just wrote from the perspective of a woman who was reflecting on her life before and after COVID (e.g. reminiscing the 9-5 worktime behind a computer during wfh). Like, she would sit in empty cinema rooms (if they were open during COVID) and would think about the drastic changes and stuff and like now she (I) is (was) writing about that.
And I guess that was not the best piece but I managed to get top 10%
I think for the creative piece though, don't go for the most straightforward approach, but also keep the topic in mind.
