If i would want to do pharmaceutical science (which requires methods), is there a way too take the regular bachelor of science course then transfer (with credits) to pharmaceutical science while taking a methods unit to meet the prerequisite? (Monash uni).

I took general but now regret it as most courses i would like to do require methods and the only science based courses are generalised degrees.

I’m in the same position

Great question! Pharmaceutical science at Monash is a fantastic course. I had a quick look on the Monash website, but I don't think it talked about options without the Methods prerequisite. These days they're usually quite flexible with bridging courses, you can send them a message the link below to ask!

Best of luck

James385 Thank you, ive contacted them about this and i think they can do a bridging course with methods as a subject, but i will have to take bachelor of science first, possibly a double degree and might be an extra year which is alright.

They said that if my ATAR score is good enough and i keep pursuing my sport as extra credit (for entry) then they can arrange extra classes for methods. I will just have to take another 6 months to a year to complete both courses after i transfer over.
