oh ok
Victoria sehs test 2026
Do you guys think MHS is the best school or Nossal because MHS is a boys school but I heard Nossal offers better resources and things compared to what MHS offers.
Because I'm not sure which one is better or what they mainly offer.
Dosanjh (NHS) i think mhs is better. But i'd choose nossal cuz i live closer
ok thx
MHS successful candidate in 2020 the test got cancelled cuz of it
Dosanjh (NHS) i mean they're both pretty similar so it doesn't really matter but from what i know nossal has better facilities while mhs has better vce courses
mhsbandar wait so if it gets cancelled this yr we would have to take test for yr 10 entry!?!?!
MHS successful candidate because of hmpv
MHS successful candidate and would have to wait 1 1/2 yrs
MHS successful candidate it would most likely go online i assume. NSW has its selective exam online now
Hello! I'am sitting the entrance exam this year. I would like to ask if anyone(preferred if you have sat the exam) knows what are the topics for the selective exam? Mostly for maths as I see everyone has different responses for the topics! But if anyone could give the topics for all subjects (nr,vr,maths, reading) would really help! Thank you!
p.s tips would really help too! I'am quite nervous and would like to hear everyones perspectives and tips!
:D so even tho i haven't done the test yet well not until taking it in 2026 i have a lot of knowledge about the test
:D there are five parts of this exam
Reasoning- Reading
Reasoning- Math's
General- Verbal
General- Quantitative
Writing- either a Narrative or a Persuasive piece
:D if you are unsure watch some you tube videos of the test to gain some info and then watch you know what the test is study those subjects and keep doing as many practice tests as you can to get familiar with the format while timing yourself.
make sure to stay calm and stay focused, you can find online resources that are free, I recommend resources focused on what the test has to generally offer so get some info about what it includes. Just study the year 8 curriculum and a bit of the year 9
Good Luck and i hope this helps
Dosanjh (NHS) Thank you so much! I've seen some videos and topics to study, I'm just unsure if the topics have changed at all. I have also heard some people recommend me to study the year 9-10 curriculum, which confuses me a bit. Thank you for your tips and explanations!
:D No the topics haven't really changed as much from the change to ACER but the general format of the test is still the same there is mainly worded questions but the format is basically the same.

:D Just study the year 8 curriculum and a bit of the year 9 but don't worry the grade 10 questions will be a bit similar to the year 9
