Person I also struggled a lot with this and I've gotten a lot better by reading like old or complex literature (books like 1984, wuthering heights, jane austen, pride and prejudice) as you really have to read between the lines to understand what the passage is trying to say. Honestly any book will do as long as you are actively reading. If you wanna practise this skill try something like readtheory or any rc worksheets should do if you don't have a tutor.
