Does anyone know if mhs does vce accelerations for year 9-10, and if so, what subjects would they be? My current school offers modern history 1,2 and general maths 3,4 for year 10 students.

@KingYen Do you have any sort of idea on what kind of awards i should put in the pdc application? ik you have a friend that got in through pdc, if you could ask him like what he did for it that would be greatly appreciated

JMSS_hopefully Today is your lucky day, he said to write down all of your achievements, praise yourself and the school (give both an equal amount), and mention a lot of your extra-curricular activities. Only use fancy words if you need them, don't overuse it. He also said to express your interest of joining the school not only for academics but for the extracurriculars as well.

just watch those usa college application videos they're good enough. remember, 50% of applicants get through to interview round. so its not that bad.

My Best PDC Tips

1) Find the school's website, and find where they talk about their missions and values.
MHS: 'More than just marks' (focusing on co-curricular etc.), and 'Honour the Work' (https://mhs.vic.edu.au/about-mhs/mission-and-values/)
SCHS: 'Respect, Aspirations, Contribution' (https://www.suzannecoryhs.vic.edu.au/ - scroll down)
NHS: "Embrace the challenge" and focusing on an independant, 'adult learning environment' (they are both on separate links)

Whenever u say something, TRY and connect it to the school's mission and values.

2) Focus highly on sports, music and co-curriculars, as well as academics.

3) DO NOT SOUND DESPERATE and DO NOT SELF-GLAZE. be respectful..

Also i have found some interview tips so if u got an offer tell me they pretty good
