MHS successful candidate the questions are more 'logic based', as you need a clear understanding on how to approach and solve the questions, trig iirc was not in the test, only 1-2 questions even if there were, circle theorems were not explored also, for probability, i would recommend doing prac tests and understanding how to approach similar questions in a simple way, for geometry, there are hard questions in the test that tests your understanding on how to decipher a diagram into simple lines of math

asianasen do u know any examples, cuz i dont get the decipher a diagram into simple lines of math, do u mean like turning a geometrical image into an algebraic eqaution?

MHS successful candidate aight, so you need to have a full understanding of what an image/diagram is 'saying', i cant really explain this part because yeh (its js hard to explain this), and normally in the test, it gives you like 2 sentences abt the question and a diagram below to find lengths x to y or something like that
what i basically mean is can you use the information given in the diagram and the question itself and make it into workable lines of simple mathematics
this is really hard to explain (I'm horrible at explaining things, please excuse me 😭)

din can someone give me an online copy of ur yr8 textbook cuz i study overseas

.. no and i dont plan on doing so

MMHS then what lmao i thought probability was a major part of the test?

a📀 hes talking about in general you shouldnt focus on just one part of the curriculum, because you never know what will come up in the test. also some trig and circle theorems is not in the yr 8 curriculum
