Dosanjh (NHS) bro this is ragebait, you have almost 2 years to prepare and you're acting like the exam is tomorrow, and why should you be worried if you're as smart as you say you are. also how do u know if the exam is in july
Dosanjh (NHS) dyk that its in july. our date got released in 2023 so ur date is pret late
mhsbandar You think I'm lying? And secondly I'm not making others mad if u know what rage baiting is and also I think it is in June to July it depends and I actually don't have time I have 4 extra curriculars each week almost every day, I also do assignments and lastly other than tuition homework I have to do SEHS studying and I'm not worried in fact I'm excited to take the exam and it is actually 1 and a half years trust me time will fly quick.
Dosanjh (NHS) yeah so id js say to study but enjoy yr 7 dont burn urself out and from the start of yr. 8 or the summer holidays from yr 7 to 8 study a lot and ull do good
Ok tysm for the advice I'll keep that in mind
Dosanjh (NHS) damn bruh my fault, but you still have a lot of time dont let the excitement or nervousness get to your head too much
mhsbandar Tysm I just have to fit everything in my schedule because in term 3 my SEHS tutoring will start as the tuition I go to is filled with SEHS students and also teachers who went to Mac.Rob and MHS.
MauryanBroski yeah fr
Dosanjh (NHS) itโs ok bro youโre gonna do great and yes time flies but rmb not to only focus on studies, but on your health and extracurriculars too!
Dosanjh (NHS) what did you fail btw like a practice test?
a It was some exams I took in grade 6 and also for my High school transition.
But the only reason I actually failed was because I didn't care or bother to study for it (Big mistake) But I can easily get into it, (If your wondering what it is it's a academic reasoning program at my high school) But I'm already the smartest in my class so I'll get in very quickly but it's fine. I prioritize SEHS.
a I heard Hong Kong is also difficult in studies so if I went there I would struggle but It's hard to focus on multiple things especially because it is every week.
Dosanjh (NHS) from my experience u dont have to drop ur extracurriculars. even i had around an extracurricular event a day but i managed to study by not wasting any time on distractions. if ur in yr 7 rn dont stress js make sure ur upto the content u need to know. when yr 8 starts, start studying hard and try to study 2-3 hrs a day
Dosanjh (NHS) yeah in hk a lot of parents beat their kids when theyโre disobedient or canโt understand a certain topic in school so students are REALLY pressured to do well. also, having tutors for every subject is common in hk and since these tutors often end at 7-8pm and each tutor also has additional homework for them, itโs really difficult to balance school and tutor and in my case, sehs. almost every family has a kid who plays piano/violin and they donโt actually have interest in the instrument but theyโre forced to play it, adding to their pressure. lots of young kids have already achieved abrsm level 8 or above in piano and itโs extremely common in hk so no one really bats an eye but when you think about it thatโs such a huge achievement at age 6 or 7. mb for going on a rant sorry this has nothing to do with sehs
a Yeah ik same in India but if you don't get first you get the chappal and belt.
Dosanjh (NHS) YEAH exactly, ma dad got beaten up with a frying pan and a stick multiple times when he was yoiung.
MHS successful candidate frying pan is crazy bro
