okay this is probably going to sound really annoying and you’ve probably heard it before but I highly recommend NOT PICKING SUBJECTS BASED ON SCALING.
Someone might choose methods because it scales well but if they’re not actually interested in maths, they’re gonna end up struggling and have a difficult time. You are better off picking subjects that you know you will enjoy. VCE is a roller coaster and my personal experience was that even if you pick subjects you love, sometimes it can still be hard for you to enjoy them because of so much stress. So imagine how much worse it would be if you pick subjects based on scaling that you only “like” but not “love”.
In terms of taking a wide variety of subjects for uni, I was in the same boat as you. I picked pretty broad subjects and I think the ones you have are well-rounded (all uni’s are different but they mostly look at having english, some sort of maths- btw methods widens your options so that’s a really good choice, chemistry is also good too especially if your interested in science)
Don’t stress too much about the subjects, but at the same time take it seriously. Talk to your teachers who teach VCE subjects about the curriculum or look at the study design (very helpful), ask yourself “do I want to study this for 2 years?” Remember anyone can do it, they just need to have the passion to do it!!
I hope this helps and good luck!! )
