public speaking competition TODAY!! nervous, excited, well-prepared. methods test TOMORROW..ill-prepared, nervous, ready to crash out.
if you see me crying, y'all know why.
my partner for my japanese speaking assessment is so sweet and so much better at japanese than me. he's been such a help in understanding the topics ++ actually helping out with the work. can't say the same for some other people i've worked with..
our school made us do morrisby testing! i'm really fascinated by my results, so i'll share them here.
100% for journalism (WHAT)
99% for translator/interpreter
94% for policy analyst
93% for literary agent or archivist
92% for court legal adviser, editor (publishing), PR officer
91% for copywriter, psychotherapy, humanities researcher or equal opportunities officer.
they're all in the same few fields which has really helped narrow it down for me. journalism seems like an interesting path but ive heard that job growth is not great, so im pushing that to the side for now. my careers counsellor recommended diplomacy to me, which sounds interesting, but the 40 hour work weeks aren't exactly promising.
we'll see; i've got 2 years to make a decision haha.
