JMSS_hopefully u pick it up once you get more experience; pre-vce maths can be very different to vce maths so don't worry

JMSS_hopefully yeah don't worry it's practically impossible to do general maths without doing the content. the topics have pretty much nothing to do with the standard maths you learn during year 7/8/9/10, except geometry or bearings in unit 1/2. But 3/4 content is very different.

hills you'll have a bit of preknowledge in the data section because you usually go through boxplots, mean median mode in year 9/10 if you do maths, and maybe some simple interest formulas for financial, but that's pretty much it

Wheat my fault i thought it would be fun idk why but i dont think i dived to deep into it so it should be fine, but does anyone have like resources for the school curriculum maths or stuff that i could use to learn or practice?

JMSS_hopefully I mean resources for schoo math would just be ur textbooks for each year. But they're not that difficult and also not that great compared to other resources. Maybe try a book from AoPS like AoPS volume 1. Altho it could be a bit overkill if you don't plan to do spesh.

Wheat my school well my class specifically doesnt use textbooks because we do more advanced stuff apparently i dont really believe that but still we dont get the text books and im not like looking for the basic ones i want like year 10 and vce maths books i think i might be able to buy them on marketplace ill have to see

JMSS_hopefully You don't use textbooks?? I asked my friend and he said that he did use textbooks tho lmao. I mean you could just search up what the textbook is for victoria or whatever. It shouldn't make too much of a difference which one you use, but I'm not too sure about it. Also ur in year 8 no need to rush straight into vce 💔. You can start with year 10, just make sure not to find a free pdf online, because pirating is bad yk 🙄
