I just got an email now with some compass enrolement links to enter in my details. If you haven’t got anything be sure to check in with parent’s a email as I’m pretty sure most information is sent there.

From what I’ve heard from others at my school the detail about 5 rounds was in the rejection email.

I think that yours might have been slightly different to the one that most people would have received because of the PD offer as it is a special case in the offers process. Not totally sure.

        thanks 🙂
just hoping for the offer tonight or tmr
also does anyone know how many ppl get in the second round ? like what chance do i have?
im just so confused cuz none of the accepted ppl from my school are rejecting the offer, they are all accepting it

It depends on the number of people that reject their offer in the first round. All the rejected offers will be sent out to the next round of people that scored the next highest.
If less than 4% of students received and accepted an offer in your school, then you always have a chance, even if nobody rejects it there. Hope that makes sense

What is the last date for accepting/declining 1st round offer?

There is no exact number to determine how likely you are to receive a second round offer (as this depends on more than one factor including your own ranking, the number of people who reject the offer, and the 4% rule).

Keep in mind that rejected offers don’t have to come from others at your school. For example, if a school has 350 in their year 8 cohort and 10 receive an offer in the first round (less than 4%), 4 people can still get an offer in the following rounds from rejections at other schools (as long as their ranking qualifies them for this).

            Best of luck!

My daughter just got an PD interview call on 4 th July from Mcrob...this forum is a great help..now help me about the interview plz...
            Is 2nd round offer over?

              *4th Oct sorry

IZM Good on your daughter! I'm not sure what to expect for the interview, but normally they would ask your daughter questions, and in order to stand out, make sure to answer in detail and note her achievements as well.
Yes, I'm pretty sure the 2nd round offers are over. Third round will be 19th of October.

Does anyone know, is there any options for apeal to recheck/reexamine any paper of selective entry exam victoria?

                IZM
I dont think there is such a thing, because it is checked by computers and the margin of error is very low. Good luck!

Also I got my results today, do i have a chance of getting in?

                  Congratulations!

While that depends on how competitive people who sat the exam at your school are, you could try comparing it to others you know who did get an offer from your school. Even then, other factors will be involved such as how many offers are distributed in subsequent rounds.

                  Good luck!

                    Thanks so much
My school isnt that competitive because only 22 people sat the exam and there 340 people in my cohort and there are 12 or so maximum spots, but 5 people got in so 7 are left. But as you said that it depends on the acceptable result and the offers distributed.
