Do the writing tasks; Trust me. You will live to regret it otherwise. (There is a bunch of nock-on consequences, eg. being removed from the scaling pool... or potentially much worse)

Just do it. There isn't a reason why you shouldn't. The gat holds more weight that it did last yr because of the changes.
