    Hi! I'm currently in Year 8, and I recently got accepted into Mac.Rob. I have 2 questions about Step 2 of the enrolment application:

    1. What do they mean by ‘Language Studies Report’? Do I need to submit it?
    2. Can I print all the official documents (Birth Certificate and Proof of Residency) in black and white and certify them, or do I have to print them in colour and certify them?

      Nutella Oh yeah by the way I'm from DHS (Dandenong High) which is really far away from the city. It takes 1hr+ by car from my house to Mac.Rob. My dad works in the city though, so he agreed to help me get to the school, although I will have to use public transport on some days.

          1. I'm not sure what the Languages Studies Report is, but you only have to fill in and submit the Languages Studies Preference in step 3.
          2. I'm pretty sure black and white would be fine as long as it's clear. I would personally print them in colour just in case.

              I think the 'Language studies report' is just your school report for the language you do (e.g. school report for French)

                Also, is anyone here doing the accelerated maths exam? If so, how are you planning to prepare for it?

                  Yea, I'm planning on trying it out. I'm not really going to spend that long on preparing for it, mainly because I'm not sure how to 😅

                          I’m doing it too! Though I’m also not sure what to do to prepare seeing as there is very little information given to us by the school. I’m doing AMC-style practice questions and going over some of the contents I studied prior to the select entry exam (from a year 9/ 10 textbook)

                          It says the exam is on ‘year level appropriate knowledge’ but I’d take that with a grain of salt since that was what they said about the maths and numerical reasoning tests…

                              Do you know where the test is gonna be held cause it didn't say anything about the location on the emails. Is it at Mac Rob? Also is it only the people who got in the first round who can do it or people from later rounds can as well.

                                  I haven’t actually heard back from MGHS since completing my enrolment info, but I hope that they will update us with the test information/ venues around the 28th of October or closer to the exam date.

                                  I’m not totally sure about who gets to apply; they mentioned in the email that the due date for sending in an expression of interest was October 28th so I’m assuming that everyone who received and offer before then gets a chance. That means all of the first three rounds and any PD invitations in that time.
