Hi all,

I retained a high average mark in legal studies for my first 3 exams (90+) in Legal Studies, then absolutely flunked the trials and am ranked 3rd last overall. My cohort is pretty strong, with an average of a high band of 5 and we should do well in the final exam. Could someone please explain to me how this plays out for my final mark? I'm aiming for 92+ in the final exam, but do I have to take half of whoever ranks 3rd last in the final exam's mark?

Internal assessments are only half the ranking, whatever your results were in the trials, this is your chance to pull it even higher. YOU'VE GOT THIS!
    Good luck!

almostfinishedhsc12 wow if you have good internal marks, rank, and a strong cohort you're bound to get good results. doesn't even matter how bad you'll do in the hsc bc you'll get the 3rd highest mark anyways (but do try your best)

i ranked first only because I have a weak cohort; no use for scaling. so good luck to you 🥲
