Good luck peoples!
May there be a total absence of vector proofs, and may us, the human calculators, not stuff up our simple addition!

weβll that was both amazing, and kinda bad at the same time
dv/dt = v dv/dx
Not v2 dv/dx
Lol
yh I feel like I didn't do well. I made a big mistake with the partial fraction question, cos I got my values wrong for Bx+C (I got C as 0 instead of B as 0) and bcos of that I got two logs instead of an arctan. But the rest of my working was correct. How much marks out of 4 would that be?
Does anyone have the exam/solution
Actually someone on fb beat me too it:

Worm's Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBJFw8gFZWU
i feel like it could've been worse but i know i also made stupid algebraic mistakes
also just realised i messed up the forces question grrrr
also with the partial fractions question... how was that 4 marks?? they gave us a whole page to work it out but i only used like four lines... feel like i'm missing something
I stuffed up.
Practice exam marks were about 32-36 but I panicked during the exam and got around 29/40.
Really annoyed especially because exam was kinda easy.
Now they are going to give us a hard exam like last year. Why?
Because it's a habit of VCAA to end their study design with hard exams.
So my hopes of getting 36-38 ss in spec are shattered
Christ
ur not alone. I did much worser than in my prac exams , and quite honestly I don't like the way vcaa structures spesh exam 1 since students are awarded more for their algebra skills than their understanding of the content. The downfall of making a relatively 'easy' (I'm hearing mixed responses from my friends about this) exam like this year's is that now those who may not know understand the content could also get higher marks than someone who frequently makes silly errors but are very knowledgable.
Regardless, there's not much we can do now, and just hope we do better for exam 2. Best of luck!
Good luck yall!

Omg that exam was amazing
Well. The short answer was amazing
Good thing that was the only part of the exam.
60/80= 75% baby!
What study score do you think this would get (leaving aside sacs and ranking)
E1: 37/40
E2: 79/80
