juliarobertsxxx my input is probably going to be of no help because i don't do methods anymore, but why does it get scaled down? i thought it was considered a complex subject, so it gets scaled up?

Arcadia Arcadia This is me just guessing cos last year for both my predictors I got a raw aggregate that equated to around 95+ which translated to 97+ after scaling and all that. School uses TISC ATAR calculator for predictors so based on 2022 data… 317 —> 97.00 329.6 —> 98.00 348.9 —> 99.00
WelcomeToHell Arcadia How does WACE work? Like I know VCE uses your raw scores to derive a study score out of 50 and then adds up your study scores to get your aggregate. Does WACE add up your raw scores out of 100 to get the aggregate?
juliarobertsxxx honestly i just want to get 94+ 😭 i'm kind of losing my motivation and don't feel like studying at all these days.
Arcadia and if I add my raw top 4 (chem is not part of it) that totals 297 which is under 95. Not counting the 10% bonus for maths bc half my subjects get scaled to sh*t anyway so it all balances out ☹️

doe Including my 10 percents, irrespective of scaling, my ATAR went from 98 to 96 seems small but the actual difference is huge 🙁((((
Arcadia mine is 308 without scaling and including 10% bonuses which equates to 96.15. Dropped 1.3 ATAR points from last semester but difference is massive like 14 points or smth
