Hi, congrats on getting in!
I am trying out for 2025 Year 11 entry, and would like some tips on what to focus on and how hard you would say it is. How much time did you get for each section and how many questions? I did a course on JMSS' entry though it was a bit short, and I'm not too confident that it was majorly beneficial. Do you think I have a likely chance do get in, considering that Year 11 Entry is much more limited in spots? Thanks a lot

Hello, my discord is awkbr_ii.. I have sent a friend request since I'm looking to get into JMSS for year 10 (i will be in yr10 in 2025)
If I get added on discord then i'll write this same message, but I'll write it here in case 🙂
I'm worried about the interview and how they select students, since i've heard that they are really strict with this process. I'd REALLY like to know about the qualities and passions they look for in a student, especially their passion in science, qualities such as being humble, confidence in own ability..
Basically I'm just looking for a detailed advice on the interview.
I hope I get a response!

hey, im also applying for yr 10 entry.
ive been going through a lot of atar forums and I think this list mainly covers what topics u may/should revise before the test:

Quadratics
Factorising
Expanding
Null factor law
Algebra
Pythagoras
SOH, CAH, TOA
Indices

I think just understanding the key concepts and how to solve them in a limited amount of time is probably the best option with five days left until the exam.

I mainly want to know if any of the maths is advanced in any way, and if so what topics? I’m all good for science, I just want to know whether the maths content is similar to the edutest practice ones or if it’s harder.
