  • I really think I messed up and can't get a good ss in Further

At the start of the year I really wanted to get above 45, but now im really stressing out because im ranked 55 in my cohort of 160. The issue is I don't know if this is bad because my school is really good with general maths with about 30ish% kids getting over 40.
For my SACs I got 98% (47/48), 80% (39/49) I know I really messed up with that SAC, and for the financial sac I got 94% (47/50). Now with unit 4 I feel like if I really worded hard enough I could still achieve high 90s or 100 on both the Network and Matrices SACs.

Can someone please tell me if there's still hope that I can get at least a 40 ss or maybe if im lucky a 45 ss?

    Also I forgot to mention that the 98% and 80% were the results of test 1 and test 2 for Data SAC, and my mark out of 40 was 35.

    hey!! i'm in year 11 too and doing further 3/4, and trust me, my average is worse than yours (im in the high 80s, and your scores are really good!) and yet my teacher assured me that if i do well in the exam i can get even in the early 40s. ur scores are really good, i know someone who averaged 70s on his sacs and still managed to get a 43. i cant really give you any advice, but i suggest downloading reddit and asking them these types of questions as they know wayyyy better than i do. only thing i can say is that ur scores are super good and you have to smash out the exams and you will probably be fine! i'm not too sure about the ranking system unfortunately but all the best!

    Mini if 30% of your cohort gets above 40 that's a good sign. If you mess up a sac and think you cannot get your aim, does that mean you should give up and watch memes? No, so keep studying and make it your primary goal to make up for that bad sac by doing well in unit 4 and the exam. Further is competitive, but my friend lost 1-2 marks in his exam and still got a 50. Unit 3 is a small contributor of your final study score, so just make sure to do well for the rest of it.

      Thank you that was surprising really motivating. I feel a lot better knowing that unit 3 is a small contributor, my schools making it sound like if I lose a mark there's no way I can get over 40. Thanks I really appreciated that

        Mini The lose a mark and not get a 40 is bogus, my friend lost 1 mark in the exam and still got a 50. There's so much time and hope. Good Luck
