also yeah i don’t blame you for not wanting to commute, the ptv situation can be very hectic on a good day, let alone when trains are down and there’s sm uncertainty.

Good to see you got a lot out of the Melbourne Uni Open Day. I went along on an excursion for Year 12, the campus was nice, and very different to the regional campuses I had seen, but the whole uni didn't really suit me.
My sister went to Deakin in Burwood, and she liked it there. The campus is lovely, and the facilities seem nice too, enjoy the freebies, haha.

Oh, and congratulations on the 100 in Business!!! I wouldn't have even dreamed of anything like that in Year 12, so you're definitely on your way to Melbourne Uni if you keep up the good work!

FinFin-2ndYearUni I went to Melbounre Uni's open day last year as well so this year i was a bit more relaxed about it and chilled with friends. I really like the way the teach/their communication plus theres so many interesting gender studies subjects so I really want to go to Melbounre lol.
Hoping I can keep up the 100 streak because that would be an amazing way to end the year but as long as I stay similar enough I should reach my ATAR goal hopefully? (90)

FH ⭐️ the line I live on never has enough carriages so it's always crowded and so far this year I've gone to Melbourne maybe 10 times? Had one time unable to go because of strikes, had the train delayed 50 minutes for no reason, had the line go down to partial bus service, had this mess from yesterday and I just cannot rely on it for everyday use.

Rey_of_sunshine yeah i agree, like i live in metro melbourne and we had a last minute bus replacement which caught me off guard because these things are normally planned in advance?
and even the tram situation- it was shoulder to shoulder it isn’t ideal to do that everyday ESPECIALLY in your situation where you have to travel a gazzilion miles

FH ⭐️ yeah the trams were awfully crowded for us but like that was so insignificant to me compared to the trams i completely forgot (still hate the whole feeling like a tin of sardines thing in a tram tho). Yeah public transport communication is not great

Didn't get the scholarship, it sucks but I still came close which is nice but I'm just so glad it's over and I have an answer. Just need to go nuts on other scholarships now ig.
Mentally exhausted, glad our school did a day off yesterday because otherwise I think I would have ended up in my schools crying room for like half the day.
Working cafe at recess and lunch today, have a presentation on consent periods 3-4 and really have to work on my uni essay period 5.
Hospitality SAC is tommorow which means I'll be busy from 4-10pm for it and I'll be doing an online class from 4:30-6 at a local pub which is great and then immideately after I'm serving people. Yay.
My father has also decided friday morning before school is the ideal time for my first ever driving lesson which just sucks.
Oh and my last open day is this week with deakin burwood, I've njoyed the other open days and the group of people for both of them have been awesome but im so exhausted and drained and I've missed work (and having money).

FH ⭐️ yeah, it was a big one and I technically got waitlisted not rejected but like it is so incredibly unlikely someone would turn that down so its easier to just tell myself I got rejected to not get my hopes up. Yeah they have a few and it helps that im regional so I need to look more into the other scholarships and should get onto centrelink as I should qualify for youth allowance and probably the tertiary access payment.
