POST 14 - 23/03/2024

UPDATEEEEEEE!! i hate school so much right now. it is way too busy i’m finding that i never have time for myself anymore. and i am also procrastinating A LOT more than usual. anywho, i got some sac scores back this week and all is going well! i got a 75 for my english sac, which puts me in the top 8-ish percent for my cohort, so i can live with that i guess. and i got an 83 for my psychology sac, which is like 30% above the class average so go me i guess!?

i have a general math sac next tuesday AFTER SCHOOL (free me), but time series is super straight forward so i’m not panicking too much. what i am panicking about is this stupid EI sac i have next week. i have to write an 800 justification or something (to be honest i’m really lost right now), and i got a grilling from the mean teacher about how my topic made no sense to him, BUT IT MADE SENSE TO THE OTHER TEACHER WHO HAS BEEN GUIDING ME FOR THE LAST 2 MONTHS. i don’t like the mean one if you couldn’t tell, but now i want to do well to shove it in his face and remove his implied doubts about me.

i’m missing out of all my business classes next week (yay), but my teacher has given so much holiday homework (not yay). like, literally finish the rest of AOS2 notes for holiday homework, watch edrolo, complete a solid 35 practice exam questions and revise for a sac next term. /sigh/. my other subjects are dull as per usual, i can’t wait for the holidays and do stuff at my own pace.

my school has a ‘soccer challenge’ next week, which is an annual thing where the two senior year levels battle it out in a game of… you guessed it, soccer. it was alright last year, but i’m not a cheerleader nor a soccer player so i have to sit there for 2 hours watching a bunch of try hards attempt to win a tiny trophy that you can buy at a party supply store. AND there are parent teacher interviews next week. my reports were fine so i don’t really care what teachers have to say about me - i know i do the work if they have a problem with me looking at my screen all the time tell the school to block snake io. oh, and my school internet network thingy blocks abc news, but not snake io. where is the common sense!? (please don’t block snake io i thrive off that game at school).

anywho if i don’t update here before easter and you celebrate, happy easter!!!

FH ⭐️ Congrats on your English and psych scores, you did awesome! Geeze your school gives you way more holiday homework than mine and schools always block the dumbest things but really ABC news? That's just dumb.

Wew, holidays came up fast, only roughly 120 more days of high school left. Dropped Art, praying I can find a mid-year course to get those final 2 3/4 subject credits. Not really sure how I'm doing in classes since we haven't been given any of our SACs back but I'm sure that I'm passing them.

Instead of soccer we have a senior house comp. for Dodgeball throughout the week, not the greatest but better than soccer imo.

monolith NO WAY i would actually go try for dodgeball… i would accidentally hurt someone i don’t like. key word: accidentally. because i’m not a mean person. i am, but only to the people who have done wrong by me T-T. you should be fine though with your art stuff, you do 4 subjects and VCAA only requires you to do four, and you sound smart so i’m sure you will pass them all with flying colours.

FH ⭐️ Yeah, I used to do some of the religious holiday stuff (not willingly, it was a catholic primary school) but we just celebrate for chocolate too. Glad your school unblocked the abc because that's just ridiculous

POST 15 - 11/04/2024

oh hi! i haven’t done an update in a while because i’ve been super demotivated to write one up, but i am super bored right now and actually cannot wait until school returns next monday because my patience at home, not doing much, is making me crazy. like, the weather has been so bad to do stuff - i’ve only gone out twice in 15 days (partly because i’m lazy. i went out the first saturday of the holidays to the tenpin bowling centre where i scored a wonderful score of 148, which is decent because i cannot play sport at all. and then i went into the city last friday to purchase a physical cd copy of an album because i absolutely love albums in their physical form.

a little update with school: i am SMOKING general math right now. i got a 91 on my sac for time series- i lost 3 marks for not connecting the smooth median, writing the wrong number when i rounded despite me calculating it correct, and i can’t remember the third error. it was after school and i was dying to go home, and to be honest i didn’t even check through my answers. also finished my EI sac, which i was super proud of so i hope i get a score that reflects my effort. i spent probably 10 hours writing and refining that sac, which is more time that i would put for another subject, but i want to prove to my teachers i am capable of doing this subject because i feel as if they doubt me.

english sac second week back to school, alongside a business sac. haven’t put effort into either those subjects these holidays- i’ve been waiting for the “oh shit school starts again tomorrow” fear when i will actually do stuff. the only subject i’ve been trying for right now is general- i’ve done 3 chapters in 5 days and am almost done the whole course content.

anywho hope y’all are having more entertaining holidays than i do- these are the only holidays i get off because my school does mock exams during the winter and spring holidays. BUT next holidays i’m going to my conan gray concert!!!! so so excited and i can’t wait to yap about that when it comes T-T.

These have been the busiest holidays for me EVER.
I only have these last 2 days to get all my holiday work done so I'm trying to crunch it all. A bit stuck with some of it but I'm sure I'll do fine (praying).

The concert sounds exciting! I'm currently getting ready for a few conventions later down the year. Right now I'm trying to get everything sorted for Comic Con.
I should probably binge a bit of General Math's work before I go back on Monday to be more prepared since I barely passed the latest SAC (45% and still got the highest in my friend group ;-; ) (Damn you circuits)

Any who, looking forwards to going back to school. Getting so bored sitting around doing the same thing every day.

The work is decently easy but just requires a lot of time to complete.

There are conventions for everyone! A lot of conventions (Especially ones revolving around pop culture) are giant "exhibition" halls filled with store stands. There are also Panels and special activities but most of the time people spend there are often walking around the exhibition stands chatting with others.

monolith OH NAH the store stands sounds like my worst nightmare- last time i went to something like that i ended up eating pizza and donuts with my friend on the floor T-T. i’ll just walk down the aisle at concerts where all i do is ask for merch and cry in my seat during the saddest, most gut wrenching songs.

i am done with school and its only been an hour T-T. 11 weeks of term 2 is going to be hell.

monolith i know i love being dramatic because why deal with any emotion logically when you have the option of losing your mind. but yeah, i wanted to take a gap year but i barely came to terms with myself to do work after a 2 week break, let alone a year and a half. guess im going uni next year—

I'm planning on doing a 3 year course for International Studies without a gap year, basically setting myself up for failure but I'll be fine.
