Unfortunately sharing resources from my tutoring centre could potentially result in me getting In trouble as I believe it is against the rules (so sorryyy) your best friend (one of my favourite resources) will be a good word doc and chat gpt, ask it questions relating to the year 9 curriculum breaking down explanations, examples and even quiz questions to test your knowledge. GL ( I also use science books, workbooks and maths textbooks from school)
JMSS Entry Tips
eee The essay structure ( I think) will be 1) A scientific report consisting of an aim, hypothesis, method, discussion with validity, reliability... conclusion etc. (again you can ask chat gpt for feedback on this. 2) A "creative" essay where you receive a prompt and use some light scientific knowledge to create a creative-ish but mainly scientific piece basically following the report structure less and more focusing on your interpretation of the information given.
The scientific multiple choice will be based off the year 9 curriculum topics so your textbooks or resources from school would really be beneficial for this (or chat gpt bahah). Basically, everything is to test the extent of your general science knowledge. (idk if that made sense, if you scroll up the explanations are much better.
is it impossible to get into jmss if i start studying now?
also could you provide some sample questions for science report and informative essay?
YOMAMA

plss helpp
YOMAMA i think so we need to study the year 9 science book
Do u guys have any time management tips during the tests?? Especially for maths and NR? Currently that’s what I’m struggling with. Also has anyone found the strive for excellence practice tests useful?
Hii,
I'm a former student who attended both JAC and Brain works, and in my opinion, I don't think that either of those will prepare you extremely well, unless you take a JAC course that includes trial test, as it may help you get into the habit of time management. I recommend you take a year higher as well in order to gain the best chance in learning and studying for the test.
Goodluck!!
nomiiie are the questions in the science reasoning like interpreting information from a graph or data and answering them?
I've been doing icas practise papers for about 2 weeks. Do you reckon that it'll help me?
HELPP me reading everyones thoughts on the JAC tests and how they won't prepare me or are much easier then the actual exam have got me tripping, I'm already finding those hard OMLL, I'm done for and I haven't been studying as much as I should.
eee
same here I have been stuck and I think I am not doing enough but still give it your all !!!
I don't know if I asked you or not and I may have said this to everyone but by chance are you willing to send any Test papers PDF on science topics and formats that could help me if you do not want to send them here I can send my email to you if you are willing to send it. Please HELP
This a Motivation Quote for anyone I guess

Hi, a friend of mine found this website: https://www.jaycetutoring.com/posts/jmss-y10 and I was wondering if someone could please confirm the info is correct? Thank you . I've also been doing some of the tests from the edutest website, but they contain completely different things to what the website says is on the entrance exam. https://www.jaycetutoring.com/posts/jmss-y10
Also, does anyone know if the writing tasks are handwritten or typed? Thankyou
