Hii,

I'm a former student who attended both JAC and Brain works, and in my opinion, I don't think that either of those will prepare you extremely well, unless you take a JAC course that includes trial test, as it may help you get into the habit of time management. I recommend you take a year higher as well in order to gain the best chance in learning and studying for the test.

Goodluck!!

One of my friends went there but said it was nothing like the real test, the tutoring questions were way easier

niv3 no problem, if you want practice you can always use OZ tests

nomiiie are the questions in the science reasoning like interpreting information from a graph or data and answering them?

I've been doing icas practise papers for about 2 weeks. Do you reckon that it'll help me?

HELPP me reading everyones thoughts on the JAC tests and how they won't prepare me or are much easier then the actual exam have got me tripping, I'm already finding those hard OMLL, I'm done for and I haven't been studying as much as I should. 😭😭

eee idk if everyone's talking about the online practise tests or generic JAC course's. If anyone took the specific JMSS course at JAC please let me know if it was easier or harder because I'm ngl Im falling behind and not doing too well.

same here I have been stuck and I think I am not doing enough but still give it your all !!!
I don't know if I asked you or not and I may have said this to everyone but by chance are you willing to send any Test papers PDF on science topics and formats that could help me if you do not want to send them here I can send my email to you if you are willing to send it. Please HELP

This a Motivation Quote for anyone I guess
"ARE YOU WORKING HARD ENOUGH "

            Please help

@nuclei I've been doing Icas tests for te past 2 weeks, do you reckon that this method is effective?

Also, does anyone know if the writing tasks are handwritten or typed? Thankyou

JMSSaspirant Yes, the ICAS tests are a good way to familiarise yourself with the SR component.

ucandothis Hi! If you're talking about the exam format, it's accurate. In terms of the content, the actual exam is pretty far from the edutest practice tests, for example there's no reading comprehension or verbal reasoning even though it's in the practice test. I'd say the website would be a better guide.

ucandothis The writing tasks are to be handwritten.

                  nuclei Thank you!!!
Additionally, I was wondering what you are allowed in the exams. Do they provide working out paper??

MMHS Is it some what similar to the actual test?

ucandothis From what I remember, they do provide working out paper. As for what you are and aren't allowed, Edutest will send you an email a week or two before the exam with specific details. I'm glad I could help, best of luck!!

eee Personally, and also from what I’ve heard, the JAC trial tests for JMSS is WAY harder than the actual exam. There is no possible way that you could answer some of the question on the JAC trial test in 30 seconds, especially in maths (unless you’re a genius, which I’m not so..). I also have a feeling the science test they provide isn’t really similar to the actual test format as it seems WAY too easy to be true and it’s making me feel a bit scared of the actual test ngl. I hope this helps.
