If someone got any material relating to the test. Could you please kindly send it to me thru my email and I assure you that material is not going to go anywhere , its fine if you can't send it tho.
Thanks a lot!

how much do you need to know of chemistry and biology for the scientific reasoning section? An online resource said a bunch but my older brother said that you don't really need to know anything. (he didn't get past the test tho)

ucandothis Most of the questions are biology/chemistry related so it's important to be familiar with most concepts. That being said, sr doesn't really rely that much on memorising information. They'll give you about a paragraph of context for most questions and you kind of just have to analyse it to get the answer. The only way I prepared for sr was by doing questions from my yr 9 science textbook and a few icas practice tests which was enough to get me a superior, so don't stress!

science reasoning doesn't require too much knowledge, but the science test itself does require some basic science knowledge. same with numerical reasoning and mathematics, though it may be different for the y10 test as I did the y11 one this year

Are non-linear relationships (parabolas and things) included in the mathematics test? I didn't learn anything about them at school

Ommahp hey since your a nossal student I’m sitting the exam for year 9 I was wondering is there year 10 subjects on it or just year nine and eight

nuclei wait r u talking Abt the yr 9 practice tests from the actual EDUTEST website? because those ones r rlly rlly easy I'm talking Abt the SEHS practice tests

you can use anything as long as it's dark enough for the scanner to read. I personally use a pen because it was easier to write with it and more efficient, but yea a pencil should be allowed for JMSS but I'm not quite sure with other selective exams.

also, are the icas test papers really similar to the actual exam? everyone's been saying that but the icas is basically only analysis and no general knowledge. Do we need to have a lot of general knowledge for the exam??

is is possible to get good results if i start practicing now?? also, what should i foucus on?

Can anyone give us a sample question of science reasoning? PLEASEEEEEEE Just type it here!

Can someone also give a sample question for SCIENCE REPORT
Im having a hard time finding one online

Does anyone have any science reasoning and numerical reasoning practice tests? If so could you please attach them here. Thank you so much! 😊

niv3 THANK YOUU oml, this was the validation I desperately needed. (cough I am definitely not enough of a genius to be answering all math questions unfortunately.) As for science I definitely find it more tolerable and easier to study.

        Thanks!

For anyone asking about questions or prompt I'd highly recommend using AI/Chat GPT, e.g. for data, tables, short sections of information to use as a prompt or questions relating to different yr 9/10 science topics.

          Hope this helped!
