JMSS Entry Tips
I am writing the exam this year for JMSS and I was just wanting some tips on what topics to study for all the exam components.
Hi, I am planning on taking the JMSS exam in 2025 for 2026 and im not good with writing (english isnt my first language), and therefore I find reports and essays really hard. Is there anything I should do to enhance my english writing skills, and if so how? Also are there any cheap mock exams for JMSS?

Hi everyone, I am trying for JMSS this year, and I'd say my maths and NR are good, so I won't really have problems, but i am concerned about the 3 Science exams, can someone pls explain them to me and how i can prepare...

hi, Does anyone, know if any students from werribee also go to john Monash? For me it's showing 2 hours 10 min minimum by public transport (one way). What do u all think, should I apply or not? Also, I am asking if anyone goes from werribee, so that I know it is possibe to have some company. But, yeah b4 all this we need to get in. So, do you guys think 2 hours is worth it each day to go to monash? Does anyone else also spend this much time?

Shiv yeah what MHS successful candidate said, also thats a past paper from the 2021 yr 9 entry edutest exam i believe, and while the yr 10 math exam shouldnt be too hard, they should definitely be harder than that
Yo guys is the math test for JMSS worded problems heavy or is it more algebra based like DeRoza?
Shiv edutests are pretty basic, should be a mix of both, with possibly more algebra.
Shiv maybe expect more algebra since i dont think edu gives too many wroded problems, so probably expect more algebra than worded problems on the actual test
preferences have came out, and I put MHS first but I dont know if I should put any after and also if anyone else with knowledge on this, should I put nossal or suzzzane as they will take the same time from train for me, but apparently if u add only one school u get a better chance so im confused on what to do??
Nossal however SCHS is more competitive as more people apply for that but honestly if you want to go to a better school go to Nossal.
I haven't taken the test but so I won't say to much it's about you.
Other33 U should go to SCHS since it's closer
Dosanjh (NHS) It is much closer,I am planning to take both tests but I want to go to JMSS more since it focuses on Science and math which I am heavily interested in
