TT556 Can you get an entry into the school just by getting a good score on the exam? But no interview?
DomainEducation TT556 No. You must take an interview as the school uses it as an important part of the entrance process.
Yes I don't think you can because from what I have heard, the interview is a really big part of the selection process
ッUSA MAGAッ For writing the Written Expression Exam, can I use a pencil instead of a pen? Or is there a rule that I have to use a pen? Thank you
nomiiie ッUSA MAGAッ you can use anything as long as it's dark enough for the scanner to read. I personally use a pen because it was easier to write with it and more efficient, but yea a pencil should be allowed for JMSS but I'm not quite sure with other selective exams.
JMSSaspirant Also, I want to know what the Nossal year 10 entrance exam will be like in 2024 for 2025 entrance. I really want to get an offer this year. If anyone has done the year 10 entrance exam, please, I mean please tell me what types of questions will be on the exam. Thanks!
shen nuclei Could you somehow give any resources as i have decided to study for the test now and im not going to a tutor
JMSSaspirant @nuclei I'm currently getting mostly High Averages or Averages in Science for James An College JMSS Practise tests, and I'm getting (everytime) Above Averages for NR and Mathematics in these tests. In writing, I'm getting 15+/20 marks. Do you think that I have a good chance this year?
nuclei JMSSaspirant It really depends on how everyone else taking the test does since it's more of a competitive thing. I haven't done any JAC tests but from what I hear, they're harder than the JMSS test. The JMSS test is easier than ACER SEHS/Scholarship tests so you probably have a good chance.
ak JMSSaspirant do u need to do JAC tuition do get the science and nr papers? i want to practice my time management, but i haven't really found any like science practice tests that i can do, is it possible for you to like exchange a JAC science practice test for other NR or maths papers from Hendersons?
JMSSaspirant Yeah, there Is always heaps of competition between people, however I find the science part usually more confusing, could you please refer to any books I should study to learn the content. Again, Thank you...
nuclei JMSSaspirant I mainly worked form my school's Pearson book for Year 9. Most of the science content is fairly simple and the rest is just interpreting data. If you find textbooks hard to learn from, I'd recommend The Organic Chemistry Tutor on YouTube, the way he explains it is really easy to understand and he provides multiple examples to help.
JMSSaspirant nuclei By the way, have you by chance given the Year 10 entrance exam for MHS,NHS,Macrob? If you have, can you give me tips on how the exam will look like?
