      Hi all,

As a fellow student striving to get into a selective school, I had a few questions about the Victorian Selective Entry Exam in 2024.

Firstly, I am curious about the format of the selective entry exam. As in, what is the subject order on the actual day of the test.

Secondly, please let me know the number of questions on each topic and the time frame for them. I've heard that instead of answering 60 questions in 30 minutes, maths just requires 35 questions in 30 minutes.

Finally, any advice or time-management strategies would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck as the test is only about a month away!

      Warm regards.

        Hey
I'm also taking the test this year but what I'm sure about is that the mathematics is now 35 questions in 30 minutes, but of course the questions are probably harder. I think if you go on the government website you can find all the details including what the subject order is on the day.

can anyone pls go to the thread i made, its called selective exams tips and questions

guys what does principal discretion mean? And how to get it?

umm soo if u kinda cause trouble at ur skl like getting suspended and stuff then you wont want principals discretion.
Its when the school has like a meeting with the principal abt if they made the right choices and who he/she thinks should get in.

so like dont cause trouble or anything
