whats high achievers? Also yes if you all do well then you should all get in i think

MMHS high achievers is like an accelerated class that studies subjects 1 year ahead so if you are in year 8 you study year 9 and i made a dumb mistake not doing the test for it

Oh, alr, yeah being in an accelerated class shouldn't have any impact on the overall marking scheme bc i find that unfair. I hope it doesn't affect it.

MMHS ye ik but they kind of have an advantage but idk because i know their teacher because she knows i wanna join nossal so she just sends me their work

Ronaldo if you are in a high school, only 4% maximum people who tried out from your cohort get in and if you are in a p-9 school its 10%. Correct me if i am wrong but i think thats how it works.

No it is not as it is 4% of your school's year 8 cohort (regardless of the number of people who did the exam) and for p-9 schools it is 10% of your school's year 8 cohort also (regardless of the number of people who did the exam).

Other33 so what ur saying is how ever people in my cohort only 4 percent can get in well that’s good cause I have a large cohort with only 7 people trying

I was also wondering if I should change my preferences as a lot of people in my school are putting mhs first preference and that is what I currently have. I live really close schs and I was wondering if any of you guys could give me some info onto which school is better.

Other33 im not lying mhs you will need four superiors if that isnt a reach for u go for it but i would put schs as first preference bc of the higher chance u get in and put mhs second

Hi everyone, so just curious what would be the minimum score needed as in estimate to get into NHS?

ATAR maybe like 2 or 3 superiors and the rest either AA/HA

ATAR ik someone who got in with only 1 superior but its rare

ATAR for nhs u can get in with 2 superiors but 4 is an ultimate guarantee a 3 would be 99 percent chance u get in but no averages and 1 superior is very rare to get in

yeah im pretty sure if u get and average ur chances go down very drastically
