  • Selective Entry Tips to not freak it! (NOT as content based!)

Hi! This Saturday, the selective entry tests will happen. Im a current year 8 student trying out for macrob (goodluck me!) and today, ill be sharing some of my tips and knowledge for the Exam.
1) DONT PANIC!! How can you do questions when your on the verge of freaking it???
2) Eat, sleep repeat: stay healthy and energized so that you are prepared for the day
3) If you have been stalking ATAR discussion forums enough, you would have found multiple documents which can aid you in preparation for the exam. HOWEVER! just because you got 40/50 in a practise test or even 30/60, doesnt mean you wont have a chance of getting in!

  • The new acer format means that you are basically being ranked among your peers, so even if your only getting half the questions correct, just remember that tons of other people may get lower/ the same scores (we are all in the same boat as you!) meaning you would have a chance in getting in
  • just because you dont excel in one test doesnt mean u wont in all the others. while candidants for these schools should be well-rounded, you can still get accepted because your better at english than math or vice versa

4) Have some fun after the test! your gnna be tired and hungry since its happening so early so eat up!
5) DONT listen to your peers. trust me on this, even after the test its still going to be stressing hearing others talk about the test, yada yada yada. IGNORE THEM!
6) write some persuasive/creative essays! prepare your layout for different essays and try prepare for different topics!

Good luck to all that are doing the test, i wish you do well!

IF ANYONE WANTS SOME ADVICE I CAN TRY HELP TOO!

Hello Everyone, You all know me as Ronaldo a newcomer into atar notes. My goal of joining this website was to seek insights for the sehs exam, never would i have thought that i would call this place home, to @MMHS, @PotatoSinghThe3rd , @AverageMultiChoiceTest, @:):, @mhs-grinder and many more i thank you for this opportunity to have a chat but as the selective school entrance exam becomes one second closer is one more second of worry and seeing as how that is a terrible way of thinking before the exam i have took it upon myself to take a long break even after the test to cool off. To everyone that sees this i thank you for providing me with many insights for this exam and i believe everyone will get in inshallah. My final words for now are good luck and good bye.
