.. ohk thanks, but i still dont understand how you got an above average for writing without doing any practice essays, that's some serious dark magic lol

:): I did hendersons for year 9 entry and didnt get in so thats y i said it wasnt too useful, and I think its better for edutest then acer js cs all the stuff they provided was way too easy for acer format tests. So yea potentially the material they gave me for year 9 entry I could use it for yr 10 but, then again I found it not too useful. For VR I would recommend practicing the "1100 words everyone needs to know" book, cs it gives you 5 new words everyday to memorise and it gives you a few exercises to memorise those words. Since your doing practice tests, if you find any words in the VR tests js practice those n read alot of books or js search up "hard reading comprehension worksheets/ articles" and js read those and memorise meanings of the words u don't know. I used a website last year it was https://www.indiabix.com/verbal-ability/questions-and-answers/ But it has alot of aptitude resources so rlly good for NR and VR. Hendersons also gave us huge lists prefixes and suffixes so if we come across a word we dont know in the exam we can use the prefixes and suffixes to help us so def do that. Lastly theres this book I think i got it from amazon but its the R.S. AGGARWAL books for Verbal & Non-verbal reasoning, I would def recommend these books they r rlly good (kinda hard but worth it) they have tons of prac questions ( I think its like 5000+) Its so so good for NR and also VR. He also has some for quantative and english i think. They have great explanations and theres this guy on youtube who goes through all the chapters (it feels like an online class) These books are def worth the hype, you could prolly find an online pdf but I personally love these. Sorry this is so long omg but hopefully this helps!

chxin I have like 3 of his books but for VR I use " A Modern approach to Verbal & Non-Verbal reasoning " this is good for verbal and NR. For Maths I use " Quantative aptitude" this is amazing for maths, problem solving and NR. And for reading comprehension I use "Objective General english".

MMHS I heard the reason Yall don't have food studies is cuz the buildings are too old to build a kitchen to do food studies in. But I heard it a long time ago so it may be wrong.

.. mhs has newer buildings such as the ches building which they can build it in or also the renovated classrooms , however they chose not to, and what does a schools age got to do with it having a kitchen or not?? Like theres a school that was established in like the 1800s and they have food tech with creaky old buildings

chxin yo mb if I offended you, good point tho. Maybe MHS thinks food tech is a waste.

        i mean im not offended but cus mhs has alot of kids which parents push them to there hardest and are normally asian or indian there parents are normally wanting to go them to become doctors,lawyers,scientist etc. So if they did introdouce food tech litreally no one would take or maybe one or two people which would be a waste of money.{IM NOT TRYING TO BE RACIST ITS TRUE LIKE 60% IS ASIAN AND LIKE 40% IS INDIAN}

chxin ye u make a good point

chxin Bro they have photography, theatre, viscom and media as electives. Absolutely no one is gonna do those subjects as there career but they take it as a elective because they can enjoy those subjects as a recreational thing. Food tech is in the same category, but maybe there are too many electives already for food tech to be available.

          • MMHS replied to this.

            there to many electives

            7 days later

chxin Yeah I can definitely agree in selective school mainly Nossal and MHS there are about 40% to 50% are Indians and then there is 35% other Asian's and the remaining 15% are Aussies (Etc.) BTW I'm not trying to be racist.

asianasen TECHNICALLY but idk why people call east asians asians and most people some times consider brown people indians

asianasen THAT IS WHAT I ALWAYS SAY

and at this point I have way too much to say about this
but I will try to be brief

I think it is because East Asia is more popular in other parts of the world due to anime, Chinese food, etc whereas people only know India because of spices, loud Indian music and curry😭 when that should absolutely not be the case
could also be because India is almost like an entirely different continent (the Indian subcontinent, anyone?) when compared with the rest of Asia. Or yk, people are just in ignorance.

Yeah I agree India is part of Asia but because India is unique and also because it has the most population and is a world superpower, many people say it isn't Asian.
Not to mention it has it's own tectonic plate unlike the rest of Asia which shares one together with Euro Asia, so many people say it is it's own continent but it has similar cultures and tradition to other Asian countries.
And also India is not the ONLY brown country.
